CMTE: Ethical Issues in Mental Health

Join us for this one-credit, pre-approved CMTE where presenter Dalena Watson, LPC, FAMI, MT-BC, EMDR Clinician will guide participants through ethical considerations and issues they may encounter when providing service in mental health settings including questions of context, confidentiality, and mandatory reporting.
Through this CMTE, participants will:
1. be able to discuss 2 examples of how ethics can be context dependent (related to culture, degree/profession, population, etc).
2. name 2 situations where mandatory reporting is required.
3. list 2 common situations that confidentiality breaches potentially occur.
This course counts toward CBMT ethics credit.
